The Urban Trough 1200 combines clean architectural lines with the warm, evolving character of corten steel.

Measuring 1200mm long and 400mm high, it is perfectly proportioned for planting along patios, pathways, fences and entranceways. Use it to soften a bare wall, define an outdoor area or create a low planted boundary without overwhelming the space.

Its generous length provides room for ornamental grasses, herbs, flowers, compact shrubs and layered planting arrangements. Use one as a striking standalone planter or position several together to create a longer, coordinated garden feature.

Made in Christchurch from certified 1.6mm weathering steel, the Urban Trough arrives in a raw steel finish and gradually develops its distinctive protective patina.

Choose your installation

Open base
Best for placement directly over soil, allowing natural drainage and unrestricted root growth.

Enclosed base
Best for patios and other hard surfaces where the soil needs to be contained. Appropriate drainage should still be provided.
