Fantail ( Front) - Corten Steel Wall Art
Known for its friendly ‘cheet cheet’ call and energetic flying antics, the fantail is one of the most common native birds in New Zealand.
The beautiful fanned tail on this cheerful bird makes up for most of its length and for good reason. It enable the piwakawaka to twist and turn so quickly during it's flight.
This New Zealand metal bird is made from the sustainable Corten steel (3.00mm), and is supplied in bare steel look. Corten steel also known as weathering steel develops a stunning patina when exposed to the elements. This patina also acts as a protective layer. The result, your outdoor wall art will last decades.
